Telcordia Technologies
When Granite Systems merged with Telcordia Technologies, we were asked to support the transfer of senior members of staff to the U.S. operation with a search for an experienced Head of Pre-sales. Working with managers in the U.S. and EMEA, we utilised our research base and network to present a shortlist of candidates within a four-week period, from which three candidates were selected for final interview. This assignment was completed successfully within an eight-week period. We are now recruiting right across the organisation on a number of projects.
Nexagent
Nexagent, a provider of On-Demand MPLS IP-VPN Services, were looking to build and structure a substantial new Operations team, including departmental heads, senior project managers, engineers and other skilled staff.

Axiom Systems (pre-IPO OSS Provisioning software company)
In 2001 Axiom Systems needed to recruit a significant team of people as venture capital funding allowed it to expand from a professional services organisation into a software vendor. The new SVP of Sales retained Montgomery|Carter exclusively to recruit 16 employees from VP of Marketing, Head of Pres-sales, Head of Professional Services and EMEA Regional Sales Managers right through to team members at all levels. This was all successfully completed in under a year.

MahindraBT (major Telecoms SI, software and services provider)
In 2003 Mahindra BT decided to launch an OSS products and services division. They need to recruit a large team quickly and retained Montgomery|Carter to fulfil the requirements, mainly product managers and technical consultants. Many of these candidates were few and far between in the UK; specialist, new technology experience is not easy to find. We placed a team of experienced from Head of Professional Services through various technical levels.
